She founded Angela's VOICE, an organization committed to providing valuable resources for survivors of child sexual abuse, as well as for other abuse survivors. Through her organization, Williams develops, distributes, and endorses programs aimed at raising awareness, preventing abuse, and facilitating healing processes.

Williams's expertise in the field is evident through her educational background, holding a master's degree in forensic psychology with a specialization in child abuse. Additionally, her extensive collection of 14 books on the topic demonstrates her commitment to educating and supporting survivors.

Beyond her literary contributions, Williams actively engages in advocacy work at both the state and national levels. Her involvement in legislative reform and policy committees underscores her dedication to effecting systemic change to prevent child sexual abuse and exploitation.

Crysta Marshall

Crysta is a survivor, advocate, mother, and a bold voice for the voiceless. She is the founder of Defined With Purpose, a faith-based nonprofit that supports individuals who have experienced child sexual abuse and other forms of deep trauma. Born from her own personal journey through sexual abuse within her family, Crysta turned unimaginable pain into a platform for hope, healing, and justice.

Since founding Defined With Purpose in 2010, Crysta has created a powerful support network that provides parental support groups, financial aid for therapy, legal fee assistance, and Christ-centered healing resources. Her leadership is marked by authenticity, compassion, and an unshakeable belief that survivors can thrive beyond their trauma.

With over 15 years of experience mentoring survivors and a certification in Mental Health Coaching, Crysta brings both lived wisdom and professional insight to every conversation. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from the University of Kansas and a Master’s in Business Administration—giving her a unique ability to communicate hard truths with grace, and lead with both heart and strategy.

As co-host of Voice Up for the Voiceless, Crysta is dedicated to breaking the silence, confronting the lies survivors believe, and guiding listeners toward healing and hope. Her vision doesn’t stop at awareness—she’s also committed to working on policy reform that protects children and empowers survivors in the justice system.

Outside of advocacy, Crysta is a devoted wife and the proud mother of four beautiful children. Her life is a testimony to God’s redemptive power, showing that even the darkest stories can be rewritten with grace, purpose, and unwavering love.
